Creative vacuum
Dec 21st
I’m still struggling to handle everything on my creative list. I suppose a lot of it boils down to organising things in realistic chunks. Although there is a fair bit of outside influence from the day job at the moment. Things have been a little stressful there recently and although you try to turn off once the office is left, that isn’t always the case. Especially as the day job is really an extention of who I am anyway.
So a nice simple list of what is on the creative list to be finished over the next few months:
- Finish the book for teens I am writing – a horror style story based on the Biblical character Samson.
- Begin some serious music recording
- Develop my main blog websites
Let’s see how we go.
Also trying out the crosspost plugin to link to Live Journal as part of organising all these online accounts.

Leaky creativity brain
Nov 27th
It seems that this last week or so, I have been totally devoid of creative thought and deed. It isn’t as though I don’t have anything to be creative about either!
So, what does one do when creativity seems to have taken a vacation?
Actually it is a great time to do a little planning. While I have been bereft of ideas I have ended up doing a great deal of organising. I am now up to my neck in 3×5 index cards, but that is no bad thing.
For the first time in ages, I have a handle on what I am intending to do. My goals and projects seem clear, and it isn’t thanks to the latest web 2.0 app, it is all down to my beloved index cards.
So don’t fret when creativity goes for a wander, there’s plenty to get on with.
